I am Anita Rachel and I am a self-taught oil paint Fine Artist, who resides in New Jersey (USA).
My passion for traveling has blessed me with the opportunity to explore more color combinations than the mind can fathom. Born in Kuwait, I’ve travelled around a lot of places growing up. I admire nature and became a Nephophile (A person who loves clouds).
I paint in season, to depict the various seasons of life that we go through. I’m a cancer survivor, and after fighting cancer for 6 years, I’m grateful for the second chance I have. Cancer made me depressed and lonely, but art gave me life.
Being a single mom, and working a full-time job, art is a huge blessing. The details in my work are accomplished with great patience over several days and with several layers of oil paint.
With each brush stroke, I weave tales of triumph and the beauty of being. My art, a beacon of hope, celebrates the resilience within us all. Explore my masterpieces and find your own reflection in my journey.

About the Artist
Always wanting to draw and color, I drew on anything that I could find, all my life. Coming from a culture where art was not appreciated as much my first memories of things I drew were Tweety bird, a frog and the Taj Mahal.
When this little guy came into my life, he was always after me to draw, color and paint with him. A small acrylic gift set inspired me to try to paint. I loved what came out of it!! My marriage was struggling but our world became more playful, colorful and easier to deal with, when we focused on our creations. Believe it or not, he is my biggest and honest critic.
The burst of color and the vibrance that comes out through my paintings, depicts the symbol of hope that strengthens us and makes us stronger after each of our life’s struggles. My art can be used both as corporate or business art, art for your home or something that can be passed on for generations with your loved ones. I hope that my artwork will inspire you and bring you to a place of perfect harmony and bliss.
I have to thank my boys (check them out below) and all of my followers, for their support and encouragement in getting me to this stage in life, where I can re-live my desire to paint and enjoy fine arts. At the end of a long day, when it’s really dark and the calmness of the night sets in, it is my time to start to paint - my Zen time. It takes me to a colorful land, which I’m thankful for. Art is therapy and gives me peace, calmness and tranquility.
